It's seven o clock and where is Roll Call?
Good morning to my IL family-just popping in to say hi! Spoke w/Christina P. over the w/end and she told me about the get together this month and God willing I'll chug along w/her! I can't wait!
Welcome home Connie, we once went back to Boston(all 12 of us Adams women) for a family reunion-2 vans fulls. We stopped overnight in NY at a motel so cruddy it made the Bates motel look homey!! We vowed right there only to stay in name brand motels after that! Good luck Monica on your mammo-you and I and Christina need to meet up for a gab session!!! Has anyone heard from Jenn(thekingskid) and her surgery. Glad to see Dee back and so perky-great pics. Big Hugs to all-Janet K

First things first Monica good luck tomorrow, my thoughts and prayers will be with you. Theresa can you please post the address and time for the get together again, I wrote it down but of course I can't find the paper I wrote it on. And what all needs to be brought for the get together, is it more like a potluck? I can't wait til the 23rd!!!
Today I've done not much of anything...afew loads of laundry, of course sent out more resumes, got another rejection letter, vacuumed, made beds. I haven't even gotten dressed whats the point. Princess Tillie and I just sit here either reading or on the computer or looking out the window at the beautiful fall colors.
Well I'm going to stop my novel right here. I hope one and all had a great day!!

Good afternoon Connie! (and the rest of Illinois)
I am just getting a chance to post. I had a bunch of work to do this morning before going to talk to Connie's students. I learned a little bit and they didn't eat me alive. We were even complimented on our talk. I was SOOOO nervous, but it turned out to be lots of fun. There was talk about making a "pod-cast" and I'm not sure how that works, but maybe Connie and I can do a weekly WLS show. (KIDDING!!!!)
The weekend was great and I managed to keep my cold at bay. Saturday, we went in to see Liz and Paul and we had a great dinner before the concert. Thank you Paul for your (as always) insightful conversation. We really enjoyed hanging out with you guys. And, last I heard, the kids are invited to the get together. Maybe they would be able to bowl?
Yesterday, I made pulled pork and layed low, trying to get the cold to dissipate the rest of the way. Amber brought the kids home and we got to spend a little time with her and Riley. She is such a "pickle"!
Tonight, I think Todd has an event, but me and the kids are going to "chill". I am winning the batle of the cold, but I don't want to jinx it by doing too much too soon. The rest of the week is busy for Todd too, so I will keep the home fires burning.
I'd better get back to work now......

This has been a very lazy day for me. I'm off today from both jobs and it's been WONDERFUL! I did get a call for a second interview. I'm going to head out in a few to see if I can find a blouse to go with a pair of slacks and jacket I have. I so want with job. Please keep your fingers crossed and any other body parts! LOL

hi All,
i am having sort of a crazy day. We got a new manager at work. it is my coworker and he got the managership of ou8r store. he sure has changed. i think it went to his head/////
Maybe i should have applied for it but i dont want the responsibily at my age.
i sure would love to come to the gettogether but ill have to wait for maybe the next one. My daughter and her boyfriend are comming for Thanksgiving and i better not go anywhere the weekend before.
i think my next trip will be in January or February to denver to see my gastric bypass doc.
Anyway stay warm i am thinking of all you guys.
